Who We Are

ImageChef is a product of The Zack Greenfield Company ("ZGC", "we", "us"), a digital marketing agency based in Arizona. Our website is imagechef.ai and the application is at app.imagechef.ai.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account information: Email address and name when you create an account or start a free trial.
• Payment information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Kartra). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Uploaded images: Food photos you upload for AI transformation. These are processed and stored temporarily for generation purposes.
• Usage data: How you use the service, which features you access, and generation counts.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the ImageChef service
• To process your AI image transformations
• To manage your subscription and billing
• To send service-related communications (welcome emails, usage alerts)
• To provide customer support

Image Data

Photos you upload are sent to Google's Generative AI API (Gemini/Imagen) for processing. Generated output images are stored in your account. We do not use your uploaded images to train AI models. We do not sell or share your images with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (i.e., sending to Google's API for processing).

Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Google Cloud: For AI image processing (Gemini API)
• Kartra: For payment processing and email delivery
• Vercel: For application hosting
• Supabase: For application data storage

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded and generated images are retained for 90 days after generation, then automatically deleted. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@imagechef.ai.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Our payment provider (Kartra) may set cookies for checkout functionality.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of marketing communications

Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication, and access controls. All data is transmitted encrypted and stored on secure infrastructure.

Children's Privacy

ImageChef is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
